Our first date was a portage canoe trip!!

Once the season ended we dated long distance in ME/ MI for the winter, flying out when we could and meeting each others families
Got engaged!
Made thimbleberry margs on the trail obvz
We reunited for our second summer at ISRO and spent it canoeing, kayaking, and swimming together
Celebrating with you all!
No more distance! Lived at the Apostle Islands together as David finished his season
The NPS exploded so we moved to Maine to be close to Mariah’s family and start new careers
Moved to Traverse City, MI together as David attended Northwestern Michigan College for land surveying
Did another stint of distance working for the NPS in Wisconsin and Alaska
Moved back to Traverse City as David finished his degree
Continued to grow together
